RVB Top 50 Dealer Award Nominations Now Underway

Elkhart, Ind.-based RVBusiness invited U.S. and Canadian RV manufacturers in May to nominate their most professional dealers as candidates for the 2021 RVBusiness Top 50 Dealer Awards, a popular, bar-raising, 10-year-old program set to resume this year after a one-year pandemic hiatus.

Winners are ultimately selected from a pool of nominees – who elect to fill out applications for the annual awards – by an independent panel of industry representatives who review the entries during a two-day, closed-door session at the RV/MH Hall of Fame in Elkhart.

And the whole process again culminates at a Nov. 10 awards reception during the 2021 RV Dealers Convention/Expo co-hosted Nov. 8-12 by the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA), RVDA of Canada and Mike Molino RV Learning Center at Paris Las Vegas.

The awards are coordinated by BJ Thompson Associates.
“We’re determined to get back to business with regard to the RVB Top 50 Dealer Awards,” noted RVB Publisher Sherm Goldenberg. “And we were obviously excited to hear about RVDA’s plans to return to an in-person RVDA Con/Expo format in Las Vegas where things are really opening up. We are also pleased, to say the least, by the warm reception we’ve received from Top 50 sponsors. Everyone is obviously intent on getting back together for the RVDA Con/Expo.”

This year’s sponsors include Airxcel Inc., Brown and Brown Inc., Contoure USA, Cummins Power Generation, Dometic Corp., Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp., Genesis Products, Northpoint Commercial Finance, NTP-STAG, Lippert, Protective Asset Protection and Wells Fargo CDF.

“We are looking forward to the RVDA Con/Expo,” added RVB partner Gregg Fore. “All indications are that Vegas is reopening its doors and that RVDA’s Con/Expo may well represent another major step in the industry’s return to normalcy. Having said that, dealers work hard to earn Top 50 stature and they can use the awards as part of their overall marketing strategies on both a regional and national scale throughout the year, That’s something we can help them do.”

While RVB provides press release templates with which dealers can publicize their Top 50 status in their respective markets, the Elkhart-based magazine publisher will also announce the year’s winners in national trade and consumer publications as well as digital platforms reaching millions of RVing consumers.

RVB will again supply award winners with “Top 50” signage for use in stores and shows and for the first time is making available apparel options with Top 50 logos for dealers to purchase for their staffs.
“I think everyone is looking forward to sharing their stories and having good things to say about 2020,” noted Top 50 awards administrator BJ Thompson. “It’s a way to take what we all went through and get something positive out of it. That’s one of the most exciting things about this year’s Top 50 program”.
